Hatta PoolsNovember 28th, 2008

Probably one of the most well-known tourist attractions close to Dubai, Hatta Pools is about 1 hour away from Dubai and provides a great place for a swim even during the summer months when the water remains fairly cool.

That’s a beautiful shot. The reflection of the sunlight off the river bed in green and yellow hues is just amazing. How did you find this location?

Fadi, the location is quite easy to find. The Hatta Pools are well known in the UAE and once you get there, you just need to walk up a bit on the river bed.

Wow, what a wonderful shot!! I’ve been in Hatta but unfortunatelly I couldn’t find the pools. Now I have a good reason to come back! ;)

Fernanda, thanks! The pools are not too difficult to find as long as you get a guide with you. I had problems getting there the first time, but then it got easier :)

You can get a pretty extensive off-road map to the Hatta Pools from the Hatta Hotel – located just off the main roundabout in Hatta.

u meant the colours are not enhanced? and the green reflection really looks like that???

Candy, yes the colours are enhanced, but the reflection was quite strong because of the angle the sun rays were hitting the water.
