Icelandic church #6
As you’ve probably seen in my previous posts, I photographed a lot of cool churches during my trips to Iceland. They are all so beautiful, overlooking strange landscapes, guarding the entrances of so many fjords.
We noticed this church one of the late evenings while we were chasing the midnight sun and by the time we came back through here it was too late and we were too tired to stop and photograph it. So the next day we decided to drive again to the same place and we were rewarded with some very moody weather. This is probably one of my all time favourite shots I took with my tilt-shift lens as I really like how I managed to keep only the front of the church along with the cross at the top in focus. It would have been very difficult (if not impossible) to shoot this image with any other lens except for a tilt-shift.
