Photo of the week – Ibra, Oman
This week: Flooded wadi close to Ibra, Oman
On our way to Aseelah in Oman, we came across this wadi filled with flowing water coming from the nearby mountains. I had to stop and take some pictures and a friend of mine came up with a very interesting idea of how to use all that water… I will get to that tomorrow.

The Omani roads
During our long weekend to Aseelah in Oman we were lucky enough to get some rain (keep in mind that summer in the Middle East is usually without rain). The rain left these beautiful clouds over the road and all the wadis got flooded. I got quite a few nice shots from this weekend so come back in the next days for more.

I did a few updates to the article I wrote about the Moroccan town of Essaouira and I also had another look at some of the photos I took in Essaouira. This one is taken in the little fishing harbour by the old town, where you will find hundreds of boats anchored and is processed with Photomatix Pro.
