The Kingdom TowerNovember 3rd, 2013

I’m spending a couple of days in Riyadh shooting for a client and although when I used to live in Bahrain I went quite a few times to Saudi Arabia I never actually took proper photographs here.

So today, after my shoot, I rushed back to the hotel (which conveniently faces the most beautiful modern building in Saudi Arabia) and setup my gear to catch the blue hour. It was not an easy setup as the window only opens very slightly so I had to somehow hang the tripod on the edge of the window and squeeze the lens through the tiny gap (if you roll over the image to see the original, you will notice a bit of the window in the shot). But in the end, it did work out and I managed to take this photograph of the Kingdom Tower.

Shot with NIKON D800 | 24mm | ƒ/8
