This week: Land Rover on Masirah Island, Oman
I just came back last night from a camping trip in Oman where we spent 1 week on Masirah Island and we were very lucky with the weather having beautiful sunsets every evening. Masirah must have the most Land Rovers per capita in the world, because on every single beach you see at least 2-3 being used by the local fishermen to pull and push boats in and out of the water. These cars are given no love and they are being used to the maximum being driven through salt water, banged against the boats and yet even after 20-30 years they still survive.
