This is yet another shot of the Burj Al Arab taken the same evening as this and this. However, instead of focusing on the hotel, this time I tried to show a bit more of the sand textures as the ripples looked great reflecting in the fading sunlight.
In terms of post-processing, this is a Photomatix tone-mapped image from 3 exposures with a 1E.V. step. I then blended back the sky and some parts of the sand from the metered exposure adding a few curves in the process to adjust the contrast and colours.Technical details | Aperture: ƒ/16 | Camera: NIKON D300S | Focal length: 12mm | Shutter speed: 6s
