As you all know, most DSLR cameras less than 1-2 years old can now take high-quality video. The Canon 5D Mark II seems to be the leader in this category with Nikon trailing a bit behind. However, since I shoot Nikon, I thought I’ll give it a try and start learning slowly how it all works. I’ve used Final Cut Pro before, but I wanted to have a go at Adobe Premiere as I’m quite familiar with the Adobe package and I hoped it would be an easy learning curve. Well, it’s not that easy! But I have to start from somewhere and this blog is the perfect environment to post stuff and hear you commenting on it giving me feedback.
So without further due, this is a video edit of four of my favourite landscapes I filmed while in Iceland. In the order they appear in the video they are the famous Geyser geothermal area close to Reykjavik, the Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon, a volcano crater in the Mývatn region and a beautiful sunset in the Westfjords. The music track is “Stele” by Michi from his album “Dub Free Romania”.
As video is something new for me, I would really like to hear your comments on this.
