We just came back from a week of visiting Seoul and Busan in South Korea and although it was a pretty quick trip, I think we managed to cover most of the main places in these two cities. One of the reasons I love traveling outside the main seasons is because many places tend to be a lot emptier and even if it might be a bit colder, having these places to yourself definitely makes up for it.
Changdeokgung was definitely a good example of this. Usually a very busy palace, when we visited, the crowds felt manageable and towards the end of the day we ended up actually walking the little alleys with nobody else in sight. This sort of photo would have been difficult to make with big crowds around and having my little X100VI always with me paid off – I just love all these textures and late afternoon warm tones.
