When I bought my first tilt-shift lens many years ago, I used to do quite a few architectural images with the lens “tilted” to get that miniature effect. After a while, I got a bit bored of it so I have stopped using the lens this way.
Until a couple of days ago when I thought the vantage point I had towards the Museum of the Future was the perfect place to try it again. I think it works quite well in this case as the bigger part of the building really stands out when the plane of focus is turned around and is so shallow. Otherwise, the rest of the image is pretty much straight out of the camera with a couple of small white balance and contrast adjustments in Lightroom.
