With Dubai’s ever growing skyline, I feel like every time I go to a familiar place to make a photograph, there are about 100 new buildings that have gone up since the last time I was there. So I always try to look for locations further out from Burj Khalifa, arguably the center of the Dubai skyline.
While I was doing some updated images of the Burj Khalifa (considering it has been 15 years since its opening) for the architecture firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, I found this new location I hadn’t used before which gave me a slightly wider perspective on this area. From what I can see in the news, there are already plans for a couple of buildings that will probably block this view also in a few years.
