First of all, apologies for no updates over the last week or so. I have been busy with a couple of blog “housekeeping” issues, moving the site to a new hosting company, as well as installing a caching plug-in and changing all the permalinks to something more inteligible than /?p=5555. All these changes should mean that the blog will load faster and will allow for some additional features and other exciting changes. More on that soon! Also, with changes, usually coding bugs manage to sneak in, so if you notice something out of place or not working the way it was intended, do let me know either in the comments or by email.
Moving on to today’s image, this was taken a couple of weeks ago from a new location within the Business Bay area and I think it really manages to show very well the scale of Burj Khalifa when compared to all the other buildings around it. If you don’t live in Dubai you problably won’t know this, but most of the “smaller” buildings are actually 50-60 stories tall towers.
