Back in December I shot 48 hours non-stop in the Jumeirah Lake Towers (JLT) area of Dubai with the aim of putting together a timelapse spanning 48 hours, showing the Almas Tower (the center piece of JLT) through two sunsets and two sunrises from four different angles. This was done for the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) and as you can imagine it was quite tiring, but very rewarding when seeing the final result (which you can find here). The client wanted the clip a little bit too long for my taste, but overall, there was some really nice footage and I am now using some of that footage to put together a reel.
The image below was taken during the first evening of shooting and as you can see by looking at the original (just roll over the image), the post-processing was minimal. It was a really clear, sharp day that didn’t need much Photoshop.
