I have taken so many photographs around the Business Bay area that sometimes it’s difficult to come up with a name for these posts. So this “Beautiful Dubai” series was a way to group all these images together.
As you can see, this is yet another image of the Burj Khalifa, taken from a slightly different vantage point. I also used my 70-300mm lens for this one instead of the usual 24mm tilt-shift as I was quite a bit further away than usual. One suggestion I have for when you’re shooting long exposures with a long lens is to make sure your tripod is very still and even use the mirror up function of your camera as any slight movement gets amplified a lot at 300mm.
On another note, I have been working hard on a new and hopefully improved design for the blog and although it’s still early days, I’m quite excited about it as it will have bigger images and much easier to read typography.
