Beirut sunset
I’m sorry for the lack of updates over the last few days, but as I mentioned on Twitter, I was away for a while in Lebanon. It was my first time there and I wasn’t quite sure what to expect as I’ve heard so many different stories about Beirut and its surroundings. I had a great time and it really felt at times like I was somewhere in the south of Spain or Italy. The lifestyle seems very Mediterranean.
As usual you can expect quite a few shots over the next few weeks as I was very lucky with the weather and with a couple of great looking sunsets over the sea. The photograph below is taken from the famous Beirut corniche, just above Pigeon Rocks. For me, what really works in this shot is the man on the left, which gives a sense of scale to the whole landscape.
