Bur Dubai #1
Bur Dubai is a neighbourhood of Dubai that doesn’t get as much attention from a photography point of view like Dubai’s newer areas. Most of the images you see taken in this part of town are usually at street level. But there are a lot of interesting views above the buildings as well and last week, while I was photographing the Dubai skyline I pointed my camera the opposite way for a few frames.
As you can see, I used heavily my 24mm tilt-shift lens as it always works when you’re photographing these sort of angles. As always, I would love to hear what you think.
On another note, there’s still a couple of places left in the interior photography workshop I’m running with GulfPhotoPlus this coming weekend. We’ll be photographing the “Story” restaurant in the Holiday Inn Knowledge Village for a full day and then we’ll spend half a day in the classroom post-processing the images. If you’re interested, all the details are here.
