After my brief Dubai Metro interruption yesterday, today I’m getting back to greener pastures, this time in Russia. The photograph below is a panorama of Cape Khoboy, the northern tip of the Olkhon Island on Lake Baikal. Because of all the high cliffs dropping straight into the water, the place really reminded me of the Cape of Good Hope area in South Africa. The landscape is beautiful and to fully appreciate it I suggest having a look at the large size version of the photograph.
Also, talking about landscape photography, in November, David Nightingale from Chromasia will run a landscape workshop (and a couple of other workshops) here in Dubai, part of the Gulf Photo Plus FotoWeekend. If you’re interested in this sort of stuff, this is not to be missed.
