For me, this weekend was a weekend spent mostly outside. We spent one day in the Hatta area and one day in the Musandam area and although the day spent in Musandam was way too windy and dusty for photography, I did manage to get a few shots around Hatta.
I’ve been to Hatta Pools quite a few times, so for a change we tried exploring a different wadi (valley for those of you that are not familiar with Middle Easter terms)Â this time. I’m not sure what the name of this wadi was, but it was a great little spot, with lots of palm trees for shade and quite a bit of water running around the rocks. As for the actual photograph, it’s a 7 exposure tone-mapped image. I had to bring the sky back from one of the original exposures as the tone mapping resulted in some very obvious halos around the edge of the mountains.
