I think out of the whole Spain trip, this was my favourite town. It’s a nice town, not too big, full of history. It reminded me a lot of Fes in Morocco with its narrow streets and hidden hotels. The big attraction here is the Mezquita, a former mosque, now converted into a cathedral. Under the Moors it was known as the Aljama Mosque and it was one of the most important mosques in the Western world.
