First of all, I just came back from my two days spent in Pakistan running a couple of photography workshops for Nikon Middle East and I wanted to thank everybody that participated – we had over 300 people at each event and a lot of enthusiasm.
As for the image above, I needed to look through my Antarctica images today for a project I’m working on and I noticed a couple of photographs which I didn’t blog. This one is one of them and it features the entrance to Deception Island, a volcanic island close to the Antarctic Peninsula. The space between the left and the right side is the actual entrance in the caldera of the volcano and it’s one of the more impressive sites I’ve seen in Antarctica.
