If you live in the UAE (or anywhere else for that matter!) and you haven’tÂ been to the Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi I suggest you make some time and visit. It’s an impressive mosqueÂ and if my memory serves me right, it isÂ the biggest in the world after Mecca and Medina. Unlike the ones in Mecca and Medina, this one can be visited by non-muslims. You should try and be there early morning or late afternoon, when the sun hits the domes at an angle creating a very “1001 nights” landscape.
