Dubai then and now
Today’s post is a little bit different than the usual ones. I was going through some of my older images shot on film when I came across a photograph I took in 2002. It was of Dubai’s skyline which at the time, although it was still fairly impressive, it was nowhere near what we have today.
Unfortunately, the location where I took that image from is not available anymore as there has been quite a bit of construction in the area, but I did have a very similar shot and I thought it would be fun to show both to see how the city has grown in these 11 years. Also, the old image is not a great scan as I couldn’t find the original film anymore.
