Eid Mubarak

I just came back from Sir Bani Yas Island off the coast of Abu Dhabi and it was a very interesting trip with quite a few opportunities for photography ranging from a beautiful hotel to wildlife. But more on that in a couple of days… For now, here’s a shot of the lamps hanging over the lobby of the Desert Islands Resort in Sir Bani Yas Island. A fitting photograph for those of you from this regionÂ that celebrate the Eid holiday (for the international audience, Eid is the holiday that marks the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan).
