I looked outside yesterday afternoon and for the first time after the summer I saw some interesting looking clouds in the sky. The sunset also looked promising because there was not much haze and there was a nice quality to the light. So I got my camera and decided to revisit a location I haven’t been to in a while, the Emirates Towers.
I’ve taken quite a few pictures of the Emirates Towers, but never HDR. I went into DIFC (Dubai International Financial Centre) and didn’t even manage to get all the way in, when a security guard, seeing my big camera and tripod, asks me if I’m planning to take pictures. Knowing how strict they are about photography in DIFC I told him I’m only having a look around. He then says “Well in case you feel an urge to take pictures, do it somewhere where the security cameras can’t spot you”. 🙂 Nicest security guard ever! So, keeping an eye for the cameras, I snapped a few shots around and this one is probably my favourite one. Actually, I think it’s one of my favourite Dubai shots in a long time.
Would love to hear what you think about it!
