Flowers and sand
This is probably not the most typical shot someone would have in mind when thinking of Iceland, but in the Westfjords Region, there are some beautiful beaches that took me by complete surprise. I still have quite a few shots from that region which I’ll continue to post over the coming weeks and months.
One interesting detail about this shot is the wind. If you look closely you’ll notice fine grains of sand blowing everywhere. They look like dust spots on the sensor, but it’s actually blowing sand because of the strong wind.
