Flowing dress
A couple of months ago, I did a photoshoot with Ionela, a Romanian model passing through the UAE and I was quite happy with the location I found. It was on Yas Island, right by the beach (you can see two of the shots here and here) and we were also very lucky with the weather as the sunset looked great through a few wispy clouds. However, typical of the UAE, that beach is now closed because of construction, so there goes another nice place!
This shot is probably my favourite out of the ones I took that day and I’m not quite sure if that’s because of the slight blur in the dress (as it was getting blown by the wind) or because of the nice light in the sky. The shot was lit with 2 strobes, one shot through an umbrella in front of the model and the other with a 1/4 CTO gel behind the model (set to very low power).
With the new design of the site the portrait shots are quite long, so if they don’t fit on your screen use the CTRL – (on PC) or APPLE- (on MAC) shortcuts to zoom out.
