On Thursday I spent the whole afternoon and evening around the new Meydan racecourse doing a photoshoot for the company that designed all the lights around the entire complex. The size of the place is incredible and I managed to get some very cool panoramas which I will share with you, once the client has approved them.
Although I mostly shot towards Meydan, I did turn my head (and camera) a few times to look at the Dubai skyline. For some reason from this particular vantage point the Burj Khalifa (formerly known as Burj Dubai) looks even bigger when compared with all the other buildings on the horizon. I shot this particular photograph from underneath one of the bridges leading up to Meydan and I quite liked the way the buildings just come up from the bottom of the frame.
