First of all I apologize for the slow updates, but the last few days have been extremely busy. Also, because I have been quite busy, I haven’t had the chance to shoot much personal stuff in Dubai over the last few weeks. However, I did want to post some Dubai images and while I was looking over my older images I came across the one below.
It was taken in November last year, while I was out shooting with Terry Moore, a US based photographer who was in Dubai for a few days. We were shooting the Dubai skyline in one of the most perfect mornings, with the sun rising behind us and the full moon setting behind the buildings on Sheikh Zayed Road (you can find a couple more images from that morning here and here).
Initially I processed this image in black and white, but I wasn’t fully satisfied with it, so I had another go at the colour processing. I pushed the colours quite a bit with a couple of curves and I quite like the end result as it comes a bit closer to how I remember the scene in my head.
