Continuing with my series of Icelandic shots, today it’s a house against a tree. Or a tree against the house…
I spotted this early in the day when I was on my way to the northern town of Husavik. I wanted to stop, but the light wasn’t quite right and most of the house was quite dark. So I came back later in the afternoon and took the shot below. It’s still not 100% right as it would have been even better with the sun lower, but sometimes when you don’t have enough time, you do what you can…
On another note, I’m traveling to Beirut in Lebanon on Friday for a few days so I’m hoping to post some nice shots from there soon. They should make a nice addition to my other Middle Eastern photographs.
