If you’ve been visiting my blog for a while, you’ve seen quite a few photographs of Icelandic churches, including a couple of images of this same church.
It’s probably my favourite building I photographed in Iceland and I’m not the only one. Last year it was made famous by the movie “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty” and for good reason. It’s a beautiful building built in an amazing location. As I’ve mentioned in my previous post about this church, this year we had some very moody weather, very different than my previous visit here. I really tried to play with the tilt on my 24mm tilt-shift lens and I was quite happy with the final results.
