As I mentioned in my previous post, this Thursday evening I will be running a free 45 minute workshop during GeekFest Sharjah. The workshop will be focused on post-processing to give you a little taste of what’s possible with a few curves in Photoshop.
At the same time I will be announcing a day long workshop towards the end of April (most likely 20th and 21st of April) involving shooting in a couple of nice locations for half a day and post-processing those images together for half a day in a conference room. I’m very excited about this and I should have some cool locations lined up for it!
Now on to the image for today… One of the most impressive places to visit in Lisbon is the Jerónimos Monastery with its beautiful Manueline architecture (a kind of late Gothic architecture – Portuguese style) and this is a shot of the Church of Santa Maria which is attached to the Jerónimos Monastery. It’s a beautiful church and for a great overview the balcony above the aisle can be accessed from inside the monastery.
In terms of post-processing, this is a bit heavier, mixing a few different exposures to bring out some of the beautiful colours in the stained glass and in the columns.
