Komani Reservoir #1
This road trip from Dubai to Romania over the last three months has taken me to so many different and exciting places that sometimes when I look through the images on my computer, I have these small moments where I go “Oh, that’s so beautiful, where was that?!?”.
It was the same with this photograph which I captured while on a river ferry navigating through the Komani Reservoir in Northern Albania. Definitely one of the highlights of the trip, this ferry starts from a 130m tall dam built in 1985 and goes upriver through spectacular canyons allowing you to see some of the remote villages in this part of Albania.
Also, a quick update on the trip (if you’re not following me on Instagram) – I am now in Bandar Abbas, basically completing the driving part of the trip (as my mom pointed out today I still have to drive from Sharjah to Dubai when I arrive in the UAE) and I will board a ferry to Sharjah tomorrow evening.
