I know most of you visiting this blog expect a certain type of shots somewhere in the landscape, HDR area (am I right?), but in the last few weeks I have been investing some money into lights and light accessories to try and get a bit more involved into portrait/fashion photography and maybe combine that with some of the interesting landscapes I have photographed before in the UAE.
So this Saturday I joined the local Strobist group in a studio in the industrial area of Dubai, set up my lights and took some shots of the models that were kind enough to offer their time. We also took some shots in a nearby abandoned warehouse, but more about that in a future post.
Meet Mona, a Lebanese model, residing in the UAE, who is very easy to work with and who had quite a lot of patience with me while I was trying to work out the finer details of my strobes.
