Living on a ferry
As we were leaving Masirah Island a couple of months ago, David and I decided to explore the ferry we were taking from the island to the mainland. Besides finding a couple of worrying details about the state of the lifeboats, we did come across quite a few subjects to photograph.
One of those subjects was this guy, who was having a bit of time off in this cabin. He worked for the ferry company and although he wasn’t speaking much English, I think this was also the same place where he was living. The things that make this photograph for me are the map on the wall and his t-shirt with “Oman” written on it.
