At Pelkor Chode Monastery on the Tibetan Plateau it was difficult to find an angle where you could photograph just one monk in his surroundings because the Chinese tourists seemed to be everywhere. So after a big Chinese group passed through the entrance of the monastery I was happy to see this old monk slowly making his way across the courtyard in front of a perfect looking traditional Tibetan building. I wish I was a bit closer when I took the photo, but if I would have moved towards him the moment would have been quickly gone.
