First of all I would like to welcome all the new visitors to the blog coming from the various stories published about my iPhone falling from the roof (the BuzzFeed story already has over half a million views)! I hope you’ll enjoy your stay!
Leaving iPhones, Dubai and fog alone for a while, I thought it’s time to post another shot from my Japan trip in January. I spent the weekend working on a small photo book with my Japan images, which I would like to show to a couple of galleries around town and putting together all the images made me notice a few new ones that I wasn’t quite sure about a couple of months ago.
I took the image above during a quick stop on the side of the road. The trees were really far away and there was no way to get closer so I used my 70-200mm lens and then cropped in a bit to frame it slightly better than the original. You’ll also noticed if you look at the original photograph (just roll your mouse over the image) that I needed to push the curves quite a bit in this one to retrieve some of the details.
