This is another photograph of the interior of the beautiful Nasir-al-Molk Mosque in Shiraz and as I said in my previous post about it, I was very happy to have my 24mm tilt-shift with me in order to keep all the lines straight and try and come up with an interesting angle for this very photographed mosque.
Just as I was leaving I noticed the sun being just at the right height to flare up at the edge of the window so I went to f11 (my 24mm tilt-shift tends to create this burst of light even when the aperture is not really small – most lenses would give you this sort of look at about f16). I overexposed slightly to still retain some detail in the walls and came away with a photograph I really like.
