If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen a few posts where I talk about how every summer I spend quite a bit of time in front of the computer, updating my portfolios with the work shot over the winter months – a traditionally busy period in Dubai.
This year, this process is quite difficult as I have had the busiest winter ever and the resulted work is taking me in a few new directions in terms of organising my portfolio. This is particularly true for the hospitality sector (hotels and resorts in particular). In the past I pretty much had everything that had to do with hotels put in one section, but this is not really possible anymore as there is too much work I want to share and to diverse to be thrown into the same category. So I’ve decided to split this into four sections – rooms and suites, spas, pools and bathrooms, lobbies and public spaces and meeting rooms and ballrooms. They are all online now and I’ll continue to add to these sections as I finish going through my recent work.
In the meanwhile, I will leave you with one of my favourite photographs I made recently, a shot of a Japanese employee of the Bvlgari Hotel meticulously arranging their wonderful chocolates display.
