One of the places I’m really looking forward to going back to next year during the Iceland photography workshop / adventure I’m running in July is this huge beach in the Westfjords.
Before going to Iceland, I didn’t think I could find such massive stretches of beach so far North. But when I finally got out of the winding roads of the Westfjords and ended up in this place, I think I got so shocked by the beauty of the place that I almost forgot to take pictures. Granted, it was a beautiful day and I’m sure during a typical Icelandic rainy day, this beach might not feel as welcoming as it did that day. But nevertheless, I’m looking forward to going back and spending a bit more time there, taking in the landscape and making sure I take lots of photographs.
If you haven’t read about the Icelandic trip I’m organising, all the details are here. It should be a really fun trip full of great photographic opportunities. There’s still a few places left so email me at info [at] momentaryawe [dot] com if you’re interested.
