While I’m on the subject of trees I wanted to also post these few frames I made a couple of weeks ago of a compound close to where I live that is being demolished to make way for what I suspect will be newer villas.
Like I said before, I feel really sad when I see these places going away and the old trees being cut down or dying because they are not taken care of anymore. There’s a certain nostalgia in the air in Dubai at the moment (at least for me and friends who’ve been here long enough) and it’s hard to not think of the older times.
