Having just run my photography workshop this weekend in a sand-filled air that obliterated pretty much any colour out of the sky, I started dreaming of the proverbial “greener photographic pastures”, or in this case, skies filled with beautiful clouds, that reflect on the ocean, while the setting sun makes everything look like it’s on fire.
If you haven’t guessed by now where this is, I suggest you head to the menu above that says Europe and then proceed to click on Iceland. One of the most beautiful places I have ever seen, Iceland is a landscape photographer’s paradise, offering opportunities for amazing pictures at every corner.
The image below was taken in the Westfjords, in the North-West of the country at about 1.30 in the morning as the sun was almost setting, just to rise up again 1 hour later. The photoshop work on this one was minimal with just a couple of curves to improve the contrast.
