One by Omniyat
On Friday, I decided to start working on a personal project I’ve wanted to work on for quite a while. In a sense, I’ve been working on this project ever since I started photographing Dubai, but now I would like to do it in a more structured way. Since new buildings are popping up at an incredible rate here in Dubai, I am planning on documenting some of these buildings and hopefully get some of the architects to talk about them and why they look like they do. It will probably be a long-term project, but hopefully an interesting one.
To kick it off, I drove down to a building I’ve been admiring for quite a while now, the “One by Omniyat” tower in Business Bay. It’s an interesting building from a visual point of view and it really stands out among the many towers around it. I got a couple of shots, but this one is probably my favourite one.
