As I’ve mentioned a few posts ago I am currently in Madagascar for 2 weeks so I’ve scheduled a few posts in advance until I get back.
Padrao dos Descobrimentos is a monument in Lisbon marking the place on the banks of the river Tagus where the Portuguese ships departed to explore the world and trade with India and the Orient.
It’s a really impressive monument, but I really struggled to photograph it until I noticed these tourists standing in front of it pointing at it. I felt that this was the only way to depict the scale of the monument and I’m really happy with the way this image turned out.
