Just before going to Cuba, I stopped a few days in Fort Lauderdale and Miami, catching up with a friend and letting the jetlag settle. It was my first time in this part of Florida and while I really enjoyed the beaches around Fort Lauderdale, South Beach in Miami was definitely the highlight, particularly because of the endless opportunities of people watching.
I spent quite a few hours just sipping a coffee or a beer (or sharing a massive Sundae that was probably made out of two kg of ice cream and biscuits), camera in my hand waiting for interesting people to pass by. As you can see from these three photographs (which I’ve already shared on Instagram), I was not disappointed!
