Every now and then, everything out there comes together to make a good photograph. You’re in the right place, at the right time and the weather collaborates with you.
This was the case with the image below, which was taken a few days ago on a very still morning. I’ve been to this location for so many times, but recently it has changed quite a bit as the water in the new creek area has been filled to the brim (up until recently it was very shallow so it was much more difficult to get good reflections). I think what makes this image work is not just the stillness of the water, but the way the rising sun (which at this stage is still under the horizon) is reflected in the glass of the buildings.
