It’s the middle of August and at about this time of year I start to get a bit tired of the Dubai heat and start dreaming about cooler destinations. Luckily, over the next 6 weeks I will be traveling to quite a few places so I’ll mostly escape the end of the summer heat – I’ll be making my way to the North of Europe and a couple of new destinations for me – Faroe Islands and Denmark.
But until then, there’s still plenty more older images to post and today it’s Iceland’s turn again. I photographed this scene as we were driving along the southern part of the country where you can find these huge flood plains bordered by massive glaciers to the North and the ocean to the South.
