During my trip to Japan a few weeks ago, I got the chance to also spend a couple of days in the beautiful city of Kyoto. It was my first time there and as you can imagine, I walked a lot, exploring the city and its famous temples. Unfortunately, most of the time I was there was spent under an umbrella as the city was under the outer rainy bands of a cyclone. Although that makes making photographs a lot more difficult, it also provides plenty of opportunities.
Although I can’t take credit for this location, which was pointed to me by Nicolas, I loved setting my tripod there and waiting for interesting scenes to happen in front of the camera, while the last light of the day was quickly disappearing.
