As I’m spending a week in Portugal, enjoying a bit of downtime, I went back to one of my favourite places in this part of the world – Cabo da Roca, continental Europe’s westernmost point. But compared to the previous times I was there, the weather was very mild with almost no wind at all so I decided that instead of staying high on the rocks, I’ll make my way down to the beautiful Praia de Adraga and see what I’ll find to photograph. And there was plenty!
I came away with a couple of very moody images which I really like and which I’ll be posting over the next few weeks. I’ll start with this image of a body-boarder who was just getting into the water for a quick sunset session. This was a planned shot as I was watching the surfers and body-boarders getting in and got myself into a position that allowed me to photograph their silhouettes against the setting sun.
