A year after it was opened to the public, I finally managed to get to the top (or “At the top” as the name of the place goes). I’m talking about the top of the Burj Khalifa (formerly known as Burj Dubai). Well, not quite at the top, but close enough. The 124th floor to be exact.
This being in Dubai, you never actually know how the day might turn out. It might be hazy and you might not be able to see anything or it might turn out to be a great day with a glorious sunset (like it was on Friday). Yesterday, it was somewhat in between. Not too bad, but still slightly hazy.
I did manage to get a few good shots and the one below is one of them. It’s a panorama made out of two images (if you roll-over to see the original, you’ll see the faint line where the two were put together) and it was fairly easy to process. Just a couple of curves, one for the main area of the image and one for the reflections on the left.
