One of the places I really enjoyed while in Sardinia was Alghero, a beautiful little town situated in the North-West of the island. The town itself is a really gem, but it’s surroundings are also beautiful and only a short drive away there are some really high cliffs, perfect for watching the sun go down and in this case the moon rise. I am not sure what the name of this rock is (I’m not even sure if it has a name!), so if any of you know I would appreciate a comment.
In terms of post-processing I cheated a bit with the moon (similar to this shot I took in Jordan). The problem with photographing a scene that contains the moon is that usually the moon appears very small compared to all the other objects in the image. So I took two different shots, one focused on the moon with a longer lens and then blended that on top of the original scene. This process can also be done in camera, but I always forget the right menu options. 🙂
