While in Pakistan last summer, I spent a few days traveling around the Sindh province (of which Karachi is a part of). Although weather was not very accommodating and huge rains flooded many parts of the province I did have a nice afternoon close to the town of Sukkur, a town situated along the Indus River. While walking along the river to find a good vantage point for the Lansdowne Bridge (more on that in a future post) I spotted a few fishermen waist deep in water using big heavy nets to catch fish in the strong current. This one is probably my favourite shot out of the two I’ll post from here.
